I’ve added a total of 381 screencaptures of one of Sam’s earliest films, Lawn Dogs, to the gallery - thanks to the lovely Barbara, who made and donated them! But I should warn you: there is some nudity in quite a few captures ;p
I had to go back to the old layout, as I screwed up the current one - sorry! lol

Attention NYC residents! There will be a special screening of Snow Angels next Thursday. Here’s what the New York Times published:
A series devoted to the still unfolding oeuvre of the gifted regionalist David Gordon Green (“George Washington”) begins with screenings of his most recently released film, “Snow Angels” (2007), with Sam Rockwell as a small-town alcoholic grasping at religion as he feels his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and daughter (Grace Hudson) pulling away from him. The program, which will include all of Mr. Green’s features, continues through July 24. Brooklyn Academy of Music, 30 Lafayette Avenue, at Ashland Place, Fort Greene, Brooklyn, (718) 636-4100, bam.org; $11.

Ashley was kind enough to share with the visitors of SRO a lovely picture of her with Sam at the CineVegas festival, where she attended the “Conversation with Sam”. You can see the picture in our ‘fan encounters’ album:

If you too have a picture with Sam and would like to share it with the visitors of the site, be sure to send it to samrockwellonline@gmail.com.

The boys of Choke - that is, director Clark Gregg, actor Brad Henke and, of course, Sam - were at the Los Angeles Film Festival this week for a premiere of their film. I’ve added some pictures of the event to the gallery yesterday. I’ve also added a few pictures of a Q & A session that took place at the CineVegas festival last week. Take a look:

A journalist and a U.S. president will provide the opening-night drama at this year’s BFI London Film Festival as “Frost/Nixon” kickstarts the event.
Organizers will roll out the red carpet for Ron Howard’s big-screen adaptation of Peter Morgan’s stage play Oct. 15.
Michael Sheen and Frank Langella reprise their West End and Broadway roles as journalist David Frost and President Richard Nixon in the film that LFF artistic director Sandra Hebron described as a “fascinating study of a unique moment in cultural and political life.”
Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, Sam Rockwell, Rebecca Hall, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen round out the cast in the movie, which centers on the 1977 televised David Frost and Richard Nixon interviews.
Those interviews attracted the largest audience for a news program in the history of American television, with more than 45 million viewers.
Howard and producer Brian Grazer, together with Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, are expected to be on hand to herald the movie’s world premiere in London.
Universal Pictures will release the film in the U.K. in January.
The LFF is set for Oct. 15-30.

Anna Faris, commonly known for films such as Smiley Face and the Scary Movies, has discussed with MTV the possibility of her project about Linda Lovelace (a.k.a. Deep Throat) finally coming to life.
In the film, entitled Inferno, to be directed by Matthew Wilder (Your Name Here), Sam would play Ms. Lovelace’s husband. Here’s what Anna had to say about the film:
We’re still trying to put it together,” explained the affable actress, who will reportedly be appearing opposite Sam Rockwell in the flick. “I’m going to do ['Observe & Report' with Seth Rogen] first, and then hopefully we’ll get together for the summer.
SRO will keep you posted if this ever turns out to be for real.
